Por su parte, Marilyn organizó la sesión de fotos para Life en el rodaje de Someting's Got To Give donde aparecía semidesnuda para protagonizar más portadas que Elizabeth Taylor, quien en el momento reinaba en las revistas con su tempestuoso romance con Richard Burton.

On her hand, Marilyn orchestated the Life Magazine photo session on the Something's Got To Give set where she appeared semi-nude to "push Liz Taylor off the magazine covers", who at the moment was the reigning queen of magazines thanks to her tempestuous relationship with Richard Burton.
